How Sunday at Comic-Con 2018 unfolded in San Diego

As the sun rose over San Diego on Day 4 of Comic-Con, the pop-culture universe was still abuzz with “Aquaman,” one of the biggest draws of this year’s convention, and its star, Jason Momoa, who brought along with him a trailer for the film.

But Sunday was no dud. It promised the arrival of the highly anticipated “Riverdale” cast and the always-popular “Supernatural” panel.

Welcome to Day 4 of Comic-Con 2018. Here’s how it unfolded.

The story this morning so far? The lines. It’s always the lines. Hall H lines this morning have begun moving and getting combined in preparation for the first Hall H panel of the day, “Supernatural,” at 10:30 a.m.

But that doesn’t mean the lines aren’t long. They still are. This is, after all, Comic-Con.

Meanwhile, inside the Exhibition Hall, things are eerily quiet and empty. But not for long.

While we’re waiting for panels to get going, how about we interrupt our regularly scheduled programming with a Ryan Reynolds moment? Shall we?

And they’re in …

And it’s always a good reminder: Kids, no running! Oh, Hall H problems.

After showing a clip from the upcoming season, “Supernatural” cast members got on the stage. Applause, applause, applause — especially for the Winchester brothers.

After the popular “Supernatural” panel wrapped up in Hall H, next up was “Riverdale,” which this year proved to be a big draw for Comic-Con’s avid Sunday attendees. The show returns Oct. 10. A preview:

While the “Riverdale” cast wowed fans in Hall H, the “Supernatural” cast was busy with up-close meet-and-greets in Exhibition Hall.

While we’re talking about Jared and Jensen, how about these two “Teen Wolf” stars — Tyler Posey and Dylan O’Brien, who partied Saturday night away in the Gaslamp, including a stop at the Entertainment Weekly soiree.

The “Riverdale” crew had its own meet-and-greet with fans in Exhibition Hall, and the whole gang couldn’t be happier.

And then there’s this: Archie + Veronica = #Varchie!

The cast of “Legion” descended upon Comic-Con on Sunday afternoon, with appearances both in Hall H and Exhibition Hall. Check out Dan Stevens rocking a stache.

That’s a wrap, kids. We know you’re sad. We are, too. But not as sad as her.
