The 2017 Academy Award nominations give 'Moonlight,' 'La La Land,' and 'Hidden Figures' lots of love

Director: Lars von Trier -- A couple in mourning after the loss of their child rents a cabin in the woods to get away and deal with their grief. However, once there, they encounter a series of strange and eerie occurrences. Cast: Willem Dafoe, Charlotte Gainsbourg. Why? Von Trier has a knack for pushing buttons and stirring controversy. No matter what you think of his films, none of them are boring. The director's last work in the horror genre, the Danish miniseries "The Kingdom," is a minor classic.
