"Brave" bested three new releases to stay atop the DVD sales chart for the third consecutive week, outselling "Men in Black 3," "ParaNorman" and "Lawless."
The animated fantasy film from Walt Disney Studios was the top-selling DVD and Blu-ray disc in the United States, according to research company Rentrak Corp., and the No. 3 most-rented. "Men in Black," "ParaNorman" and "Lawless" debuted at No. 2, No. 3 and No. 4, respectively.
Lionsgate's "The Expendables 2" was the most-rented DVD and Blu-ray this week, climbing from its debut at No. 2 last week. "The Amazing Spider-Man," last week's most-rented DVD and Blu-ray, fell to No. 4.
Below are the 10 most sold and rented movie discs during the week ended Dec. 1 (sales) and Dec. 2 (rentals), according to Rentrak.
