The Somali pirate hijacking drama “Captain Phillips” has commandeered the home video market.

“Captain Phillips” is nominated for six Academy Awards, including best picture, and has generated $217 million in worldwide ticket sales.

Also debuting were the critically panned action picture “Machete Kills,” about a man hired to take on a billionaire arms dealer, and the PG-13 bilingual comedy “Instructions Not Included.”

“Machete Kills,” which bombed at the box office, ranked No. 4 for the week in DVD and Blu-ray sales, while “Instructions Not Included,” debuted at No. 5.
