The box-office underachiever “Runner Runner” ranked high in the home video market in its first week in release, but it didn’t sell enough copies to take out “Despicable Me 2,” which has now topped Rentrak’s sales chart five weeks in a row.

“Runner Runner” stars Justin Timberlake as a college student who becomes involved in an offshore Internet gambling business run by an entrepreneur played by Ben Affleck. The thriller received generally poor reviews, indicated by a rating of 9% “fresh” on Rotten Tomatoes.

“Runner Runner” grossed just $62.7 million worldwide through its theatrical lifespan, but it debuted at No. 2 on the sales chart behind the animated comedy “Despicable Me 2.”

The 4-week-old “Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters” landed in third place and the 5-week-old “Fast & Furious 6” fell to fourth after a long stay at No. 2.

In fifth was the fourth season of the A&E reality sitcom “Duck Dynasty,” about the wealthy Robertson family of Louisiana. A&E briefly suspended the family’s patriarch Phil Robertson from the show this winter after he made inflammatory comments about gays and African Americans in an interview with GQ.

“We’re the Millers” was the top rental.
