The total viewership for the 9 p.m. telecast of the star's troubled star's appearance was 7% higher than the show's average this season. The program also got a 6% boost in the key women 25-to-54 demographic.
Still, it was only the second-highest-rated Sunday telecast of "Oprah's Next Chapter" since pop star Usher's appearance in September 2012.
A much bigger draw was Lance Armstrong's confessional interview with Winfrey in January, on a Thursday. The first 90-minute part of that interview drew about 3.2-million viewers.
