Now there's another way to find out what's going on with "S.H.I.E.L.D." and "Blacklist" before getting to the office, but without watching the week's episodes.
TV Talk Network LLC, which produces podcasts that recap TV show episodes, is getting its own station on radio giant
Launched in September to coincide with the new fall TV season, TV Talk makes about 50 podcasts that run 20 minutes, summing up and evaluating those shows airing new episodes this season.
The company distributes the podcasts through its website, mobile apps and
"We're really getting exposure to a large audience," Crane said. "Basically overnight, it'll double or triple our number of listeners."
In addition to the iHeartRadio station, TV Talk is introducing three one-minute news update segments for iHeartRadio's "Daily Pulse" channel, called "TV Tonight," "Reality Recap" and "Everyone's Talking."
Crane, 48, has funded TV Talk with money he made by selling his healthcare software company Definitive Homecare Solutions. TV Talk, based in Columbus, Ohio, employs seven people in its core staff and has about 70 hosts working on the recaps.
