Eva Longoria has yet another wardrobe malfunction in Cannes

Eva Longoria revealed a bit more than she realized when she was trying to save her dress from the rain at the Cannes Film Festival in France.

The actress was ascending the stairs of the red carpet in inclement weather and decided to hike up her high-slitted Versace gown to prevent tripping and protect it from getting wet. But the former “Desperate Housewives” star pulled it up a bit too much, revealing that she wasn’t wearing any underwear.

The L’Oreal Paris ambassador was attending the premiere of “Jimmy P. (Psychotherapy of a Plains Indian),” which stars Benicio del Toro, at the 66th Cannes Film Festival on Saturday. And of course, photographers were there to document every moment of the mishap.

Longoria, 38, took to Twitter the next day to show what she learned from the incident and posted a picture of herself in a sheer black gown that clearly showed she had panties on underneath.

“Here’s my dress for tonight! No wardrobe malfunctions tonight!!!” she wrote.

What a pro.

Though this isn’t the first time her clothes have defected. In April 2011, her tuxedo jacket gave way to a bit of flesh on “Late Show with David Letterman.” She also showed off that she does believe in undergarments by flashing her shapewear while sliding out of a car. Earlier this year the actress inadvertantly bared a breast at a Golden Globes after party, then misfired while adjusting a bikini strap on the beach.

Perhaps her clothes are just telling her she looks better without them?
