Kaley Cuoco’s new boyfriend, Ryan Sweeting, aces red-carpet test

Kaley Cuoco has made her new man red-carpet official. “The Big Bang Theory” star stepped out with boyfriend Ryan Sweeting at the 65th Primetime Emmy Awards on Sunday and its related events throughout the weekend.

Cuoco, 27, had been posting photos of herself and her tennis-player beau all summer long. And over the weekend he passed the red carpet test — twice.

The pair made their initial appearance Friday at Entertainment Weekly’s pre-Emmys party at Fig & Olive Melrose Place in West Hollywood, E! reported.

“#emmyweekend greatest date ever @ryansweething,” Cuoco wrote on Instagram, posting a cute snapshot of the two of them.

“#emmys w my main man @ryansweething,” wrote the Vera Wang-clad actress. who goes by the handle @normancook, posting a picture of herself and Sweeting on Instagram. The starlet completed her look with Aldo shoes and Neil Lane jewels. Sweeting accessorized his dark suit with dark shades on the sun-splashed red carpet Sunday.

Sweeting, 26, also piled on the gush fest with a few photos and captions of his own.

“Wind is picking up at the Emmys @normancook #mostbeautifulgirl #rally,” he wrote, adding, “A million people, all I see is her @normancook #emmys.”

The rumors of their romance had been percolating throughout the summer after a lunch date at Marmalade Cafe in Sherman Oaks on Aug. 3. Before dating Sweeting, the actress briefly dated “Man of Steel” star Henry Cavill, who had just split from longtime girlfriend Gina Carano.

Cuoco and her “Big Bang Theory” team were nominated for best comedy Sunday night, and costar Jim Parsons took his third Emmy Award for his portrayal of genius Sheldon Cooper. Costar Mayim Bialik was also up for supporting actress but lost to “Nurse Jackie’s” Merritt Wever.

Meanwhile, Cuoco’s on-screen love interest and other ex Johnny Galecki, 38, hit the red carpet with girlfriend Kelli Garner of the short-lived drama “Pan Am.” That pair debuted their relationship in March 2012 after Galecki and Cuoco secretly dated for two years. The costars revealed only in September 2010 that they had been together — after they had already split up, Us Weekly reported.
