Host Seth McFarlane made it his duty to make Tommy Lee Jones laugh, and there was a hint of a grin: "I didn't think about it at all," the actor said curtly, adding that he wasn't made aware of the joke or cutaway before it happened. As for his thoughts on MacFarlane so far, Jones had a terse review. "It's funny," he said, not really smiling.
