Oscars 2014: Academy finalizes ‘Wolf of Wall Street’ producer credits
“The Wolf of Wall Street” director Martin Scorsese and star Leonardo DiCaprio will both have the chance to claim their very own Academy Award for best picture at this year’s ceremony.
On Tuesday, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced that it had determined the four producers who will represent the film in its bid for the Oscars’ top prize: Scorsese, DiCaprio, Joey McFarland and Emma Tillinger Koskoff.

When the film was nominated for last Sunday’s Producers Guild Awards, neither Scorsese nor DiCaprio was among the individual nominees. The PGA nominees were Koskoff, McFarland and Riza Aziz. (The award went to the films “12 Years a Slave” and “Gravity” in a tie.)
At this year’s Oscars, Scorsese is also nominated for directing “The Wolf of Wall Street,” which tells the story of the shady stockbroker and relentless hedonist Jordan Belfort. Scorsese previously won an Oscar for directing “The Departed” and has been nominated nine other times. This is his second nomination as a producer; the first was for “Hugo.”

DiCaprio is likewise nominated for lead actor for his performance as Belfort. DiCaprio has been nominated for three Oscars in the past and has yet to win. “The Wolf of Wall Street” marks his first nomination as a producer.
The Academy Awards take place March 2.
