Beyonce shows Solange love with quartet of photos after Jay Z tiff

Beyonce showed some solidarity with Solange Knowles on Instagram after the drama that went down May 5 between her younger sis and husband Jay Z.

The quartet of images shows the Knowles sisters hugging during their duet at Solange’s Coachella concert last month and living the good life in a trio of other throwback photos.

In signature Mrs. Carter fashion, most of the images have no captions, save for the first one she posted, which is captioned “Good Morning” and shows the girls doing a cheerful high kick.

Perhaps things are looking up for the Grammy winner’s familial woes?

“It is a testament to Beyonce’s calm nature,” a source told Us Weekly, adding that Beyonce is always “so calm and always the peacekeeper.”

The “Drunk In Love” singer, 32, has been the target of much criticism for not taking a stand in surveillance footage that surfaced online this week showing her sister going ballistic on Jay Z in an elevator.

Solange, who’s also a singer, is seen attacking the rapper in a hotel elevator following a Met Gala after-party that took place May 5. It’s still unclear what provoked the squabble, but reports have claimed that Solange was already on edge from a spat with designer Rachel Roy before entering the lift, People reported.

“This is not the first time this has happened,” a source told Us Weekly about the tiff. “That’s why Bey and Jay were so calm. They are used to this from Solange. It has definitely happened before.”

Conversely, on Tuesday, the meme-launching 27-year-old purged nearly all the photos she had previously posted of her sister on Instagram and several photos from the gala following the media maelstrom that followed the leaking of the footage.

Some reports Tuesday said that all was well between Solange and Jay Z and that the two even went jewelry shopping in New York this week. Solange’s rep denied that her client was even in the Big Apple but jewelry store owner Mr. Flawless insisted that he waited on the in-laws himself, TMZ reported.

So is it safe to say that Bey is on Team Solange? Looks like it, but we’ll see how this story pans out.
