Bobbi Kristina Brown was reportedly still on life support Thursday, despite a story early in the day declaring artificial assistance had been removed — but it still looks as if the family’s moment of truth isn’t far off.

The plug-pulled report was “false,” her father Bobby Brown’s attorney said in a statement obtained by CBS News, “just as is the vast majority of the other reporting that is currently taking place.”

Doctors at Atlanta’s Emory University Hospital near Atlanta have done all they can for Whitney Houston’s only child and were advising loved ones to let her go, TMZ said, attributing its information to unnamed sources close to the family.

People said the word from doctors came Wednesday.

The 21-year-old, whose nickname is Krissy, has been hospitalized since she was found unconscious and face down in a bathtub Saturday outside Atlanta, at the home she shares with partner Nick Gordon.

The Daily Mail on Thursday cited a “police source with knowledge of her medical condition” in its report saying she was off support.

However, a source told Fox 411, “It’s now a matter of when the family wants to let go and accept that she’s pretty much not going to make it.”

As of late Thursday morning, Cissy Houston had not yet made it to Atlanta see her granddaughter, TMZ said, but had plans to do so as soon as possible. Other family members, including Bobby Brown, have reportedly been at her bedside throughout the ordeal.

Though Bobbi Kristina Brown and Nick Gordon had declared themselves husband and wife in 2014, Bobby Brown’s attorney said in a statement Wednesday that the couple were never legally married.

Krissy Brown is the sole heir to her mother’s estate. The money was to have been put in a trust until her 21st birthday, with more coming to her at age 25 and the balance at age 30, “Inside Edition” reported in 2012 after it obtained Whitney Houston’s 19-page will.
