Corey Stoll confirms baby rumors: ‘There’s people a lot dumber than me who’s done it’

Corey Stoll just confirmed that his fiancée’s conspicuous baby bump is indeed a baby bump.

The former “House of Cards” actor, who plays “Ant-Man” villain Yellowjacket in Marvel’s upcoming superhero flick, confirmed near the end of his chat with HuffPost Live that he and theater actress Nadia Bowers are expecting.

The 39-year-old “The Strain” star said he’s “just dying of anticipation” about their new addition.

“I’m so excited. I mean I’m sure there’s too much to be nervous about to actually really be nervous about anything specific,” he said and laughed.

“I just sort of figure, there’s people a lot dumber than me who’s done it and kept that baby alive, so I think we’ll be OK. Whatever I mess up, she’s a lot more competent than me in many ways, so I think the kid will be OK.”

Pregnancy rumors popped up earlier this month when he and Bowers, who’ve been engaged since September, walked the red carpet together at the 2015 Tony Awards. Bowers displayed a growing belly in a brightly colored empire-waist gown, but the couple did not publicly confirm the pregnancy at the time.

No additional details about the child have been revealed.
