The Weinstein Co. and Netflix affair after the 72nd Golden Globe Awards on Sunday at the Beverly Hilton was a bit more posh than the other after-parties, with lush ferns, plush couches and soft, candle-lit mood lighting.
Hilary Duff, taking selfies with a group of girlfriends at the gathering, was heartfelt about the evening.
"Several of the speeches brought tears to my eyes," she said. "Gina Rodriguez, Julianne Moore ... amazing."
Meanwhile, producer Harvey Weinstein worked the crowd aggressively, shaking hands and slapping shoulders.
When approached by this Los Angeles Times reporter, he said: "Hi. You're with who? Oh, well, I'm with the New York Times," he joked. "Gotta go."
"The night? It was great, was great."
Also spotted at the party: Laura Prepon, Taryn Manning and Uzo Aduba of Netflix's "Orange Is the New Black"; "The Imitation Game" nominee Benedict Cumberbatch with fiancee Sophie Hunter; "The Honourable Woman" winner Maggie Gyllenhaal; Scott Eastwood; Keira Knightley; original song winner ("Selma") Common and "Transparent" actor winner Jeffrey Tambor, among many others.
