Olympic diver Greg Louganis marries partner Johnny Chaillot

Greg Louganis and his partner, Johnny Chaillot, are married!

The 53-year-old Olympic diver wed his paralegal fiancee during a sunset ceremony at Geoffrey’s in Malibu on Saturday, People reported.

“It was amazing because I have so many people from all facets of my life here tonight and they are all here and celebrating it is all wonderful,” Louganis told the mag. “I already feel different. The ceremony was so reflective and representative of who we are.”

Louganis, who recently coached ABC’s diving competition “Splash,” began dating Chaillot, 52, in 2012 after they met on the dating website Match.com. The pair got engaged about a year later on April 8 and announced their engagement in June.

“When we first got together it was like, ‘We look like brothers.’ He has the same skin. The same skin tone, everything. I was like, ‘This feels really narcissistic,’ ” he said at the time. “But I also realize the more I fall in love with him the more I fall in love with myself. ... “I always grew up hearing, ‘Oh, your soul mate this and that.’ And I didn’t think it existed. I’m having second thoughts about that.”

“This is what the universe had in store for both of us,” he added.

The grooms wore European-cut white suits as they got hitched in front of 160 guests. Their wedding party included Chaillot’s four sisters and Louganis’ Olympic diving coach Ron O’Brien, who walked him down the aisle, Us Weekly and People reported.

Louganis’ dog also presented them them with the rings, Us said.

Guests included Barbara Eden, French Stewart, Bruce Vilanch and Olympians Janet Evans and Nadia Comaneci. “The Voice” contestant Dominic Scott Kay sang at the receptions a guest enjoyed a vegan baby greens salad, grilled Angus filet mignon and Chilean sea bass, according to People.

In lieu of gifts, the newlyweds asked guests to make donations to the Human Rights Campaign and Mending Kids International.

“We are both in our mid-50s and don’t need another blender, so we really wanted to give back,” Chaillot said.

During his diving career, Louganis won five Olympic medals, sweeping the 3-meter and 10-meter competitions in consecutive Games (1984 and ‘88). He alsoe won five world championships and almost 50 national titles.

The athlete came out as gay and HIV positive in 1995 on “The Oprah Winfrey Show.”
