Heidi Klum is not engaged, despite a prominent piece of jewelry she's been sporting on her right ring finger.
Those matching Tiffany & Co. diamond-and-gold bands she and bodyguard beau Martin Kristen have been wearing recently got the rumor mill churning, but Klum has finally set the record straight about their relationship status.
"I did get a present from my boyfriend. He did give me a ring and he has the same," the 39-year-old supermodel told omg! Insider. "I am not engaged. I am not planning to get married anytime soon. It's just a beautiful piece of jewelry. Just something nice.”
Yeah, Tiffany nice.
The couple confirmed their relationship last September, just months after Klum ended her seven-year marriage to singer Seal, with whom she has three kids. Klum's fourth and eldest child Leni, who was adopted by Seal, is from her previous relationship with Flavo Briatore.
But back to Kristen, who helped her rescue her son Henry and two nannies from a riptide while the family was vacationing in Hawaii in March.
"I am happy," she continued. "It is always hard to find the right partner and you just never know in the beginning. You just don't."
Perhaps saving her family ticked one of the boxes in her long-term partner application?
Earlier this year, the "Project Runway" host opened up about her divorce in Marie Claire's February issue, explaining that it's not what anyone wanted, but it was just how things turned out.
"People say, 'Oh, God, how devastating to go through a divorce,' " she said. "Did I wish for this to happen to my family? No. But everyone is healthy; we're moving on with our lives. If someone got [very sick], God forbid, that would be a real problem.
"It's not what I wanted — it's not what anyone wanted — but it's not a real problem."
