Jennifer Aniston and a Big Mac did not play well together

Share

Jennifer Aniston is a bit of a delicate flower, at least when it comes to chowing down on fast food.

In a New York magazine interview focusing on skin and beauty — categories the A-lister scores high in — she was asked if she’d ever sacrificed her “clean healthy diet” of choice for the food of the masses.

“I’ll never forget when Justin [Theroux] and I were on a road trip and we were so hungry,” she said. “The only thing around was McDonald’s. I think I ordered a Big Mac.

“Wow, my body did not react well to that!”

(Hey, Jen, some of us don’t eat very clean and healthy, and we still have that reaction to a Big Mac, so don’t feel bad. Maybe it’s the special sauce?)

“It was like putting gasoline in a purified system,” she told the mag. “I am always trying to eat organic and natural foods, so that just made my stomach turn and made me feel terrible.”

She said she thinks stress and the quality of food a person eats is reflected in the quality of their skin.

We just wish we knew — did she have fries with that?

Still, Aniston’s not high-end in everything when it comes to her skin. In the same interview, she said that when she “started making enough money to afford high-end, fancy skincare products with sexy bottles and impressive claims,” she decided to give them a try. But that backfired and irritated her skin.

Her cleanser of choice now? Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Scrub, which is available at the local drugstore for the price of a few Big Macs.
