Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult have the rumor mill churning with dating stories now that they’ve been spotted together again.

These “X-Men” stars can’t seem to stay exes.

On Tuesday, the Oscar-winning actress and her “X-Men” costar spent some cozy quality time together during a casual picnic at Montreal’s La Fontaine Park, according to E! News. They held hands while they walked and shared Champagne and a salad as they lazed on the grass, the site said.

Lawrence, 23, reportedly read “Mockingjay,” the final book in “The Hunger Games” trilogy, while Hoult used his iPad. She was photographed resting her head on his stomach. (Aww!)

“The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” star reunited with Hoult on the set of “X-Men: Days of Future Past,” which they began filming in Canada in mid-April and is due out next year. She plays the young version of shape-shifting mutant Mystique and he plays a young Beast. Director Bryan Singer’s star-studded film also includes Halle Berry, Hugh Jackman, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Peter Dinklage, Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellan.

The pair appeared with several cast members to promote the film at Comic-Con International in July and, on Saturday, she and Hoult were seen arriving together at the comic-book flick’s private wrap party in Montreal, according to People.

Apparently, the two looked more like a couple than exes. Though they weren’t openly affectionate, it “looked like a date,” one observer told the mag.

Earlier this month, the actress sweetly joked about their relationship in the September issue of Vogue, complaining that he “would never wring [sponges] out.”

“We were in the kitchen once, and I picked up the sponge, and it was soapy and wet, and I was like, ‘See?’ These are the kinds of things that make me think we are never going to work,’” she said.

Hoult, 23, an English actor who starred in zombie rom-com “Warm Bodies,” met Lawrence while they were filming 2011’s “X-Men: First Class,” and she later gushed about him in the December 2012 issue of Elle magazine.

“He is honestly my best friend, and hopefully I’m his best friend, too. He’s my favorite person to be around and he makes me laugh harder than anybody,” she said. “We can eat Cheetos and watch beach volleyball and we turn into perverted Homer Simpsons, like, ‘Oh, she’s got a nice ass.’ I never thought we’d have such different opinions on asses.”

The pair dated for two years before reportedly calling it quits in January. The amicable split came at the height of Lawrence’s rounds on the awards circuit for “Silver Linings Playbook.”

Not too much later they were soon spotted having dinner together in April and that sparked those pesky reunion rumors we’re perpetuating here.
