Kim Kardashian loves having a baby. Being pregnant with that baby, however, that was another thing entirely.

“I think it’s a real head trip,” the reality-TV star told Ellen DeGeneres in an interview that aired Friday. “Your body is going through so many things that you can’t even explain. ... It was really hard mentally on me.”

That and she did have preeclampsia, which led to an early delivery.

“My labor was easy, but just the whole pregnancy, was so -- I had a few medical issues so it was really tough, and I gained a lot of weight, but it was just, they are all lying to you if anyone says it’s easy,” she said.

But does she want to have more kids with the man she intends to marry over the summer, overseas?

“I always wanted about six. After having her, I would have a million, but I would -- the pregnancy, I wouldn’t really wish that on anyone. Anyone.”

Kardashian laughed nervously and rolled right over DeGeneres’ suggestion that she and fiance Kanye West could adopt, however, so it looks like that’s not part of anyone’s plan.

“It’s all worth it in the end, so I would definitely suffer through that, but pregnancy was not a good experience for me,” Kardashian said.

Having West as baby North’s father, however, sounds like it’s going pretty well. He’s a hands-on dad, she said -- though not in one area.

“He’s not a diaper kind of guy. And that’s OK,” Kim said. “No, he’s not a diaper-changing kind of guy. But he would if it’s an emergency, he will.”

It’s OK because diaper time is a happy time for mom.

“I love that time. I know that sounds crazy but I love my time with her when she’s on the changing table. She tries to talk so much, and I really enjoy that bonding time when I’m with her.”

Kardashian also shared a few new pics of North: one of her piggybacked on West and another two showing the little miss in headbands, which are likely to become her new fashion statement, Mom said, because the baby “really liked them.”
