Prince William first met Kate Middleton at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. As the story goes, they were friends first until a 2002 charity fashion show where Kate walked the runway in a partially see-through dress. The couple quickly became fodder for the paparazzi, but after years of dating it seemed the inevitable proposal was never going to materialize. The press bestowed Middleton with the nickname "Waity Katey," and the couple broke up for a time in 2007. A few years later, they moved in together in Anglesey, the island in North Wales. Shortly thereafter William finally popped the question while the couple vacationed in Kenya and they were married on April 29, 2011. Here's a look at the Duchess' life over the past few years.
