Laverne Cox gave followers a sneak peek into her meet-up with Caitlyn Jenner this weekend.

The "Orange Is the New Black" actress joined the reality star at a private screening of her forthcoming E! docu-series "I Am Cait" on Sunday, meeting in person for the first time since Jenner came out as a woman.

"@caitlynjenner and I finally met in person at a special private advance screening of #IAmCait. #TransIsBeautiful #girlslikeus #caitlynjenner," the transgender actress wrote on Instagram, sharing a photo of them side by side at the screening.

The stars were joined by other trans community activists, including performance artist Candis Cayne, who Cox said paved the way for her and other transgender people.

Cox shared another snapshot with the women that she captioned: "Fun with #girlslikeus tonight at the screening of #IAmCait @tracelysette @candiscayne @smartassjen @zackarydrucker #MimiMarks #TransIsBeautiful."

The Netflix star, who landed the cover of Time magazine in June 2014, praised Jenner after she debuted her female identity on the cover of Vanity Fair in June. The actress voiced her support in a thoughtful Tumblr post praising the Olympian-turned-reality-star's decision to come out. Of course, that came after her initial reaction of "Yasss Gawd! Werk Caitlyn! Get it!"

"It feels like a new day, indeed, when a trans person can present her authentic self to the world for the first time and be celebrated for it so universally," she wrote of Jenner's Annie Leibovitz-shot portraits.

"Yes, Caitlyn looks amazing and is beautiful but what I think is most beautiful about her is her heart and soul," Cox said. "The ways she has allowed the world into her vulnerabilities. The love and devotion she has for her family and that they have for her. Her courage to move past denial into her truth so publicly. These things are beyond beautiful to me."

"You are fierce and fabulous!" the Arthur Ashe Award winner responded via Twitter. "Your support means the world. Thank you for all that you do for the community."

Since receiving her ESPY Award last week — her first official public appearance as a woman — Jenner has been seen out-and-about nearly every day. The reality star was spotted at Nobu, attended opening day at the Del Mar Racetrack and stopped by West Hollywood's famous gay bar The Abbey, according to Us Weekly
