Leonardo DiCaprio celebrated his 39th birthday in New York with a little help from rappers Kanye West and 2 Chainz.

Because that’s precisely what Jay Gatsby would do if he was a real person.

“The Great Gatsby” star feted himself at Tao Downtown in New York with about 100 guests and special performances from the rappers, raising millions of dollars for his foundation, TMZ reported.

The Sunday event raised $3 million for the actor’s’ namesake sustainability foundation and reportedly didn’t end until 4 a.m., the Daily Mail reported.

Rapper 2 Chainz performed a special rendition of “Happy Birthday” and West performed hits including “Good Life” and “Gold Digger.”

West flew in from Los Angeles, the Daily Mail said, with fiancee Kim Kardashian in tow. The reality TV star also shared a photo of Yeezy’s pop-up performance on Instagram.

Other celebrity attendees included actors Orlando Bloom and Benicio Del Toro, socialite Nicky Hilton, rapper Busta Rhymes, director Martin Scorsese, and baseball players Alex Rodriguez and Derek Jeter, the Daily Mail said.

The celebration comes amid a backlash after actor George Clooney’s Esquire interview in which he poked fun at DiCaprio’s basketball skills — and potentially his exclusion from Clooney’s club of famous people.
