No ‘Lost’ love between Dominic Monaghan and Matthew Fox

Looks like some drama from that mystical island in “Lost” still lingers, as two of the show’s former stars -- Dominic Monaghan and Matthew Fox -- are caught up in a cringe-worthy conflict stemming from Twitter.

A fan tweeting at Monaghan on Sunday suggested he recruit former co-worker Fox to open an account on the social network, and Dominic wasn’t shy in expressing his lack of enthusiasm over the request.

“He beats women. No thanks,” Monaghan responded. When the fan pressed about their “good times,” the actor elaborated on the charge.

“How do you know we ever did? you don’t know either of us.he beats women. not isolated incidents. often. not interested,” Monaghan continued.

In August 2011, Fox was detained but not charged by Ohio police for a physical altercation with the female driver of a party bus he attempted to board uninvited. The driver, Heather Borman, accused Fox of drunkenly punching her in the chest and groin.

One could assume that’s one example of the many instances of abuse that Monaghan accuses Fox of in his tweet. Matthew is reportedly puzzled by the allegations.

“Fox and Monaghan have not spoken for years, and they never had any sort of blowout argument so it’s baffling to Fox as to why Dominic would go on such a rant,” reports TMZ, directly citing a source from Fox’s camp.

Tweets aside, this hasn’t been the best month for Fox. The actor was arrested for DUI on May 7 for driving under the influence in his resident state of Oregon.
