Looks like Miley Cyrus' wrecking ball didn't do any permanent damage: She and Liam Hemsworth may be back together more than two years after splitting up.

The "Wrecking Ball" singer, 23, and "The Hunger Games" star, 26, sparked reunion rumors earlier this month, and a weekend selfie from Cyrus suggested that the couple might even be engaged again.

The "Hannah Montana" alum shared three Instagram photos featuring what appeared to be the 3.5-carat Neil Lane diamond engagement ring Hemsworth gave her when he proposed back in June 2012. Cyrus, who's no stranger to a good shock factor, downplayed the ring with other highly distracting elements — her typical foul language and a green polka dot hat and pink coat combo that she insisted made her look like a strawberry — but there was no denying that a huge sparkler was parked right on her ring finger.

Reps for both Cyrus and Hemsworth did not immediately respond to The Times' requests for comment.

So what does that mean for the former couple? It's still a bit unclear, but the gossips weighed in on Tuesday with overtures that "The Last Song" costars were back together.

"Miley is where she has wanted to be for the past two years. Back with Liam and very happy," a Cyrus source told People. "Miley never wanted to split. Things just got so bad that they really needed the break."

On Monday, photos surfaced of the attention-grabbing songstress driving a U-Haul truck with her pals over to Hemsworth's Malibu home over the weekend. There, Cyrus reportedly unloaded her stuff from the trunk after a weeklong move, Cyrus sources told TMZ. The site also noted on Monday that she was wearing the ring when she touched down at JFK airport on Sunday.

Earlier this month, Cyrus joined her ex and his famous family on vacation in Australia, where they were spotted getting cozy and looking "very happy and affectionate" backstage at the Falls Music Festival in Byron Bay.

The couple famously called off their engagement in September 2013 on the heels of her tongue-wagging MTV Video Music Awards performance. But sources told People that the singer "never got over" the "Independence Day: Resurgence" actor.

"Despite them constantly fighting before the split, Miley always said Liam is the love of her life," a source said.

Us Weekly said that Cyrus has struggled to move on from the Aussie hunk, and the feeling was mutual.

"He's never met anyone quite like her who has that hold on him," an insider told the mag. "He realizes she was growing up and experimenting; he took a step back and gave her time to do that. ... Miley's always had a special place in his heart."

Since calling it quits with Hemsworth, the singer has been linked to producer Mike WiLL Made-It and USC student Patrick Schwarzenegger. She's also dated Tyler Posey and Nick Jonas. In a 2015 Time interview, she noted that not all her past relationships were "straight, heterosexual ones."

Hemsworth has been linked with singer-actress Eiza González, his "Independence Day: Resurgence" costar Maika Monroe and is rumored to have hooked up with a slew of other famous actresses. His "Hunger Games" costar Jennifer Lawrence recently admitted to kissing the actor off-camera too.
