So which is it, Miranda Lambert: “caffeine and sad songs” or “girlfriends and coffee”?

Blake Shelton’s ex-wife is doing a little talking about how she’s coping in the wake of their divorce, and America wants answers! Well, as long as the answer isn’t “Gunpowder & Lead.”

The country singer took the stage at a Nashville club Tuesday night and then Instagrammed a selfie on Wednesday morning, initially claiming she’d been living off that first combo lately and then singing the praises of the second in a photo with singer RaeLynn.

Lambert, whose divorce was finalized less than two weeks ago, “came out smiling but was very subdued” at the beginning of a sit-down set with a number of other artists at 3rd & Lindsley, an insider told E! News.

“I’ve been living off caffeine and sad songs lately. So, we’re going to drink some caffeine and play a sad song,” the 31-year-old said by way of introducing the tune “Dear Diamonds.”

Among the folks on stage with her were Natalie Hemby, Jessi Alexander, Courtney Cole, Clare Dunn and RaeLynn, according to E!, who noted that the last lady had been coached by Shelton on “The Voice” in 2012.

When Wednesday found Lambert and former tour mate RaeLynn hanging out together, essentially makeup-free and definitely hiding behind a couple of big mugs, the “Little Red Wagon” singer touted some of mother’s other little helpers.

“Thank you Jesus for girlfriends and coffee,” Lambert wrote. “Oh and concealer! #wewokeuplikethis.”

Lambert and Shelton got together in 2005 and were married in May 2011. He filed for divorce on June 6 in Oklahoma.

“This is not the future we envisioned,” they said June 20 in a joint statement. “And it is with heavy hearts that we move forward separately.”
