The day after Peaches Geldof's death, authorities are searching in and around the house where the model, writer and socialite was found, with an autopsy scheduled for Wednesday.
After the autopsy, the coroner will open an investigation and decide whether an inquest -- such as that into the death of singer Amy Winehouse -- is merited, according to the U.K.'s Mirror.
No evidence of drugs was found at the home near London where the 25-year-old was found Monday, the paper said, and friends insisted the mother of two tots wasn't using anything. Officials said there was no sign of injury and no suicide note.
The death is currently being treated "nonsuspicious" but "sudden and unexplained," the BBC said.
"She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us," he said in the statement. "Writing 'was' destroys me afresh.
"What a beautiful child. How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable? We loved her and will cherish her forever.
"Tom" refers to Peaches' husband, Tom Cohen. The couple's children are nearly 2 and nearly 1 year old, both with birthdays this month.
