‘Covert Affairs’ actress Piper Perabo is engaged to Stephen Kay

Piper Perabo’s new relationship status is definitely out in the open: The “Covert Affairs” star is reportedly engaged!

Perabo, 36, said yes to a proposal from her director-producer boyfriend Stephen Kay, People reported Friday.

New Zealand-born Kay, a “Covert” co-exec producer, has a number of episodes of the USA Network spy series under his directorial belt, in addition to helming episodes of “Sons of Anarchy,” “Friday Night Lights” and “The Shield,” plus the Sly Stallone film “Get Carter.”

Perabo — not to be confused with Picabo — got her big break with the lead role of aspiring songwriter Violet in the 2000 flick “Coyote Ugly” and has been starring in “Covert Affairs” since 2010.

She was nominated for a 2011 Golden Globe for her work on the series.
