Terrence Howard introduces snoozing son Qirin Love

Terrence Howard gave a debut of his newborn son with a photo showcasing “daddy & me” naptime.

The “Empire” star, who confirmed his fourth child’s arrival earlier this week, introduced son Qirin Love on Friday just after asking his Twitter followers if they’d like to see the little man.

Howard, 46, previously told “Access Hollywood” that his son’s unique name was derived from qilin, the word for a mythical Chinese creature that appears before a time of prosperity or serenity. And on Friday, he made good on that statement.

“A mythical 1/2 dragon 1/2 lion who glides above the land so as not to harm even a blade of grass... meet Qirin Love!” the Oscar-nominated “Hustle & Flow” star tweeted alongside the photo of himself and the bundled 4-week-old dozing in bed.

Qirin Love is the first child for the actor with his third wife, Mira, whom he wed in 2013. Howard has three children -- Heaven, 17, Hunter, 19, and Aubrey, 21 -- from his first marriage.

He told “Access” that the new baby is “beautiful and strong and a whirlwind.”
