Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino is giving his moniker a legal spin: The “Jersey Shore” alum was arrested Tuesday after a brawl at a New Jersey tanning salon he owns with his family.

Yes, that really happened.

“At approximately 2:10 p.m, our officers responded to a 911 call at the Boca tanning salon in reference to a fight in progress,” Middletown Police Det. Lt. Stephen Dollinger told The Times.

The cause of the argument was unknown, he said, adding that the other man was not arrested, and both he and Sorrentino sustained minor injuries.

“Upon arrival, the officers arrested Mike Sorrentino for simple assault. He was processed and released after posting $500 bail,” Dollinger said.

Sorrentino’s case will next be given a court date.

The 31-year-old’s rep confirmed the arrest but had no further comment. However, Sorrentino went onto Twitter to retweet several stories about it.

TMZ reported that other person involved was Sorrentino’s brother, Frank, and the pair got into a “fist fight” that left Sitch with a welt-like situation on his face.

The self-proclaimed guido, who rose to fame on MTV’s hard-partying reality series “Jersey Shore,” opened the tanning salon with his family in March, and they’re set to appear on TV Guide Network’s reality series “The Sorrentinos” this summer.

If cameras were rolling, we can’t say the show won’t be eventful ...
