Boy band the Wanted is calling it quits for now — but we’re glad you came, fellas.

Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness, Tom Parker and Nathan Sykes have gone the way of the Jonas Brothers, ‘N Sync and the Backstreet Boys before them (except for the getting back together part), posting the “important announcement” to fans on their website Wednesday.

The “Glad You Came” crooners, who formed in 2009 and were managed by Justin Bieber shepherd Scott “Scooter” Braun, sugar-coated the news with the announcement of their new video and single, “Glow in the Dark,” and their upcoming Word of Mouth tour, which follows up the November release of their third studio album by the same name.

“This tour will be their last for a while as Tom, Max, Jay, Siva and Nathan have collectively decided to take time to pursue personal endeavours following the tour’s conclusion,” the post said.

The protracted farewell tour is scheduled to end in April.

“The band wants to stress to their fans that they will continue on as The Wanted and look forward to many successful projects together in the future,” the statement continued. “They thank their fans for their continued love and support and look forward to seeing them on tour.”

The news, which brought reactions of devastation from Wanted fans all over its website and Twitter, also comes after the band canceled its 2014 European tour dates in December following George’s departure from the U.S. tour after the death of his grandfather, David George.

The English-Irish fivesome released its first album, “The Wanted,” in the U.S. in 2010 and followed it up with “Battleground” in 2011 and “Word of Mouth” in 2013.

In 2012, the band moved to Los Angeles to film “The Wanted Life,” an E! reality series chronicling their lives. The first season aired from June to July 2013 and lasted for seven episodes.

George, 25, and Sykes, 20, are the group standouts, with George’s personal life becoming a tabloid staple and Sykes already branching out on a solo career. Sykes is also known for dating singer Ariana Grande.

Following the announcement, Sykes shared a message with the band’s fans via Instagram.

“Thank you to everyone for all of your lovely messages,” it reads. “We have had the most fun and every moment is down to you guys! However, I must take this moment to say that nobody is to blame for any decision we have come to and we are so grateful to everyone who has helped us along the way. I can’t wait for the tour to celebrate everything The Wanted has achieved and to see you all in the future!! Much love <3”

Parker, 25, also aimed to clarify the announcement, tweeting, “Just want to say... It’s a break, not the end. You can’t get rid of us that easily haha! x”

In a series of tweets, George aimed to settle fan fears.

“Hey guys, so I know the news today was a big thing, but let me tell you this is not the END,” he tweeted, adding, “It’s the right time for myself and the other boys to have some time to try and achieve other things in our lives and careers ... I can’t wait to see everyone who has come to see us on all of our tours in march ... And I hope I see you all with me in my own ventures ... I love you all very much, and I will say it again, this is NOT the END. #TWFanmilyaFamilyForever xxx ... As @TomTheWanted ... You ain’t getting rid of us that easily.”

Kaneswaran, 25, simply wrote, “We love you guys”
