Conan O'Brien runs into trouble with the FCC

That Emergency Alert System spoof you may have heard during a "Conan" promo that aired this summer has landed the talk show host a $25,000 fine, courtesy of the FCC. "Today's enforcement action sends a strong message: the FCC will not tolerate misuse or abuse of the Emergency Alert System," FCC official Robert H. Ratcliffe warned.
