New ‘Ghostbusters’ team ain’t afraid of no ghosts

Sony is rolling out a new look for the all-new “Ghostbusters” team. Directed by Paul Feig of “Bridesmaids” fame, the new team is made up of Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones. And this new crop of studio photos and posters is showing off the team’s new proton packs.

The movie, which is set to debut on July 15, 2016, was filmed in NYC this year. The new posters show off a few good angles of the proton pack, the traditional paranormal capturing device. Highlighted with a bit o’ neon for punch up appeal.

Little to nothing is known about the plot, but we do know that Chris Hemsworth (better known as Thor) is also a member of the cast. That’s it. We cannot confirm on the return of Slimer, but we’d love to see that green gooey ghost in the mix at some point.
