Twenty-six pairs competed in an American Contract Bridge League charity game Wednesday, April 18, during a meeting of the Hagerstown Bridge Club.
Overall winners in Flight A were: first place, Elaine Rowe and Fred Wagner with a 68.8-percent game; second place, Lois Taylor and Robert Freed with 65.7 percent; third place, Barbara Shaw and Willa Garner with 61.2 percent; fourth place, Richard Taylor
and Ron Clawson; fifth place, Anne and Frank Carden; and sixth place, Debbie Kiser and Emma Eaton.
In Flight B, Jack Mesner and Tom Janus finished in first place; second place, Sara Hoyle and Alan Brown; third place, Beatrice Van Norden and Mary Archer; and Irene and Larry Graham tied with Patricia Young and Marianne Grusheski for fourth place.
North-South winners in Flight A were: third place, Jean and Rick Elbo; and fourth place, Scott Kiser and Richard Evans.
East-West winners in Flight B were fourth place, Madeline and Bill Davis.
A club game will be at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, at American Legion
Post 42, 405 Northern Ave. in Hagerstown.
