NEW YORK -- Kate Gosselin says in divorce papers thather marriage to Jon is "irretrievably broken."

The star of TLC's "Jon & Kate Plus 8" filed for a no-faultdivorce Monday in Montgomery County Court in Pennsylvania.

Kate Gosselin also says they have been unable to agree on dividing their assets.

She says in papers that she's willing to "negotiate a fair and reasonable"settlement with her husband of 10 years.

Lawyers for the couple say it contains boilerplate language commonto all no-fault divorce petitions filed in Pennsylvania.

The series follows Jon and Kate Gosselin as they raise their eight young children, including 8-year-old twins and sextuplets who just turned 5.

The Gosselins had portrayed themselves as happy until the past few months, even renewing their wedding vows in Hawaii last year.
