But most of Nas' headlines were about the controversy surrounding the release rather than the actual release. Originally tipped to be titled an unprintable word, Nas eventually opted to go without a title at all, bringing to an end months of hype for the impending controversy. But it was far from the first album to inspire debate for something other than its music. Even the Beatles ran into trouble for some non-musical purposes.
