Sean Algaier, 29, a youth paster from Oklahoma At 6 feet 2 inches, with a boyish face and an easygoing demeanor, Sean is like the Jolly Green Giant. He also weighs 444 pounds. Sean grew up in foster homes before he was adopted, and his new family used exercise as a punishment. And Sean fought back by overeating. (Sean is quick to add that he does not blame anyone else for his weight.) He also gained weight while being on tour with a contemporary Christian rock band. That lead to several unhealthy habits, mainly so little exercise and a lot of food. He said he is not concerned about the $250,000 prize. "I pray for all the contestants, by name, every day," he said. Instead, his focus is on getting healthy for his three young children. No spoilers here, but Sean has a startling wake-up call in the premiere as to just how sick he really is. How he knows this is it: "I have a new gospel now," he joked. "It's 'calories in vs. calories out.' "
