I'm ambitious for success to the extent that I want my work to be appreciated by as many people as possible. But other than that I'm just as happy to concentrate on the process, to concentrate on experiencing life outside of being a rock performer, and if record sales suffer as a result, so be it.

With two episodes left to air in its first season, the highly successful "Will & Grace" revival has been renewed for a third.

NBC has announced it has ordered an 18-episode third season for fall 2019. The network will also expand the number of episodes in next fall’s season two from 13 to 18.

"As far as I'm concerned, we can't get enough of 'Will & Grace,'" said NBC Entertainment Chairman Robert Greenblatt in a news release. "I'm overwhelmed by the euphoric response the new show has received from the press and the audience."

I don’t listen to much pop-rap. Most of it doesn’t have enough substance for me. But if too much of it gets in the mainstream and everybody starts rapping, the black roots of rap will be slowly forgotten and rap may turn into just another bland form of music.

Being young, you always want to find that film or find that TV show that makes you escape. Who does not want an alien invasion to land? Who doesn’t?

Condragulations are in order for RuPaul: The drag superstar received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Friday morning, making history as the first drag performer to receive the honor.

Coinciding with Thursday’s third-season finale of “RuPaul’s Drag Race: All Stars” and next week’s Season 10 premiere of “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” the ceremony brought a new level of fabulous to the streets of Hollywood on an unusually gloomy day.

The red-plaid-clad pop icon was visibly emotional throughout the ceremony dedicating the 2,631st star on the Walk of Fame.

President Trump has always had a complicated relationship with the truth, but news this week that he admitted to lying to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau took things to a new level.

On Thursday’s “Late Night With Seth Meyers,” the host took Trump to task for his lies and asked the important questions, including the possibility of a head injury.

In audio of a speech at a fundraiser obtained by the Washington Post, Trump said he was clueless about whether the U.S. and Canada have a trade deficit but insisted otherwise.

Things are getting more female-friendly around DC Comics these days.

Witness Thursday’s shop talk between Ava DuVernay, the first woman of color to head up a $100 million-plus live-action movie, and groundbreaking “Wonder Woman” director Patty Jenkins, who praised DuVernay’s work on “A Wrinkle in Time.”

DuVernay, you see, is DC and Warner Bros.’ second woman to helm a big-budget superhero movie: She has signed on for “The New Gods,” The Times has confirmed.

Conductor James Levine has filed a $5.8-million breach of contract and defamation lawsuit against New York’s Metropolitan Opera three days after the company fired the conductor in connection with allegations of abuse and sexual misconduct.

In documents filed in New York State Supreme Court on Thursday, the former maestro “clearly and unequivocally denied any wrongdoing in connection with those allegations,” according to the New York Times and Associated Press.

Levine denied ever being engaged in “an abusive sexual relationship” delineated in reports in December, which he called inaccurate and unsubstantiated. He also accused the company and its general manager, Peter Gelb, of exploiting the #MeToo movement while sinking his once-illustrious career.

Robert Downey Jr., Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana and others star in the final trailer for Marvel Studios' "Avengers: Infinity War."

It’s impossible to tell how successful Marvel’s “Avengers: Infinity War” will be based on the latest teaser, but it’s safe to say that the upcoming film is on track to become the most superhero film of all time.

The trailer, released Friday morning, features so much high-end Hollywood talent, the real marvel is that they’re all allowed to be in the same place at the same time.

You want Iron Man? He’s there. You want Rocket Raccoon? He’s definitely there. You want Black Panther and the Dora Milaje? They are so there. You want Doctor Strange? Well, no, probably not. But he’s there anyway!

A bevy of pop, R&B, rock, country and Americana artists are paying homage to the 50-year collaboration between Elton John and lyricist Bernie Taupin with not one, but two separate collections of new interpretations of more than two dozen of the team’s biggest hits and many less-familiar selections.

“Revamp” and “Restoration” — curated by John and Taupin, respectively — will be released April 6.

“Revamp” is a pop-R&B-urban-leaning album including recordings by John himself, accompanied by Pink and Logic, as well as Lady Gaga, Ed Sheeran, Coldplay, Sam Smith, Mumford and Sons, Alessia Cara, Queens of the Stone Age and Q Tip featuring Demi Lovato, among others.
