'Hell's Angels' (1930)

Jean Harlow got her big break when she was cast in Howard Hughes' sound reshoot of his silent World War I epic "Hell's Angels." Although she was a reserved bookworm off screen, Harlow was coached on sex appeal and billed as "the most sensuous figure to get in front of the camera" in ads for the film.
