Cameron Diaz on ‘Sex Tape’ nudity: ‘You see everything’

Cameron Diaz’s enviable body is on full display in her upcoming comedy “Sex Tape,” and it’s the first time she’s baring it all for a role.

“It’s a first for me,” the 41-year-old blond bombshell told Esquire, whose August issue she covers. “But Jason [Segel, her costar] gets naked, too. It’s just a part of the role. So I did it. I mean you see everything.”

Everything, she says. Surely, fans everywhere are grateful and considering a bevy of suggestive hashtags.

In the R-rated Jake Kasdan film, Diaz and Segel, of “How I Met Your Mother” fame,” play a married couple who scramble to keep their impromptu sex tape under wraps after it inadvertently goes public.

Segel is no stranger to the “everything” school of nudity either, having displayed his full-frontal nether regions in “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” and a deleted scene from “The Five-Year Engagement.”

But it seems as though the “Charlie’s Angels” alum is gaining more confidence as she ages, also posing for the mag in a white, soaking-wet men’s shirt.

“I like being 41. I love it. So much ... just falls away. Fear, mostly. It’s the best age,” Diaz told the mag. “That’s when a woman knows how to work things, or she doesn’t care about that anymore. You just stop being afraid. You don’t worry about what men think. You just don’t worry that time registers anything awful.”

And perhaps that’s why the leggy star poses on the magazine’s cover in a sexy black swimsuit that shows off her gams and curvy backside.

The actress is currently linked to Good Charlotte’s Benji Madden and seems perfectly content about her decision not to have kids.

“It’s so much more work to have children. To have lives besides your own that you are responsible for — I didn’t take that on. That did make things easier for me. A baby — that’s all day, every day for 18 years,” she said.

She has a protective streak, “but I was never drawn to being a mother,” she said. “I have it much easier than any of them. That’s just what it is. Doesn’t mean life isn’t sometimes hard. I’m just what I am. I work on what I am. Right now, I think, things are good for me. I’ve done a lot. And I don’t care anymore.”

Next for “The Other Woman” star: a sequel to Jake Kasdan’s 2011 comedy “Bad Teacher” slated for later this year.

Diaz also takes a turn as the formidable (and by formidable, we mean “hot mess”) Miss Hannigan in the big-screen adaption of “Annie” due in December.
