1996 | Robert Downey Jr.: Woke up in the wrong house

Robert Downey Jr., who earlier in his career had run-ins with the law surrounding various drug charges, made headlines in 1996 when he wandered into a neighbor's home and fell asleep in an empty bed. First, he neatly folded his pants over a chair. As the Los Angeles Times reported, the homeowner said Downey was in no way threatening and even made funny faces at the man's daughter as he was leaving.
