“Game of Thrones” star Emilia Clarke has been named AskMen’s most desirable woman of 2014, leading a bevy of television actresses in the men’s site’s annual list of 99 covetable females.

The 26-year-old English actress plays the formidable Mother of Dragons Danaerys Targaryen in the HBO fantasy series and bares quite a few of her assets in the lavish drama. But that isn’t supposed to be the only reason she clinched the No. 1 position.

More than 1 million people voted in the AskMen tabulation, which asked readers to vote for women who “most closely match their ideals” and vote “on more than just sex appeal.” That means voters were supposed to consider the woman’s “character, talent and potential for 2014,” AskMen said in a statement.

Good news: The actress recently told WSJ. Magazine that she’s single too.

AskMen publisher James Bassil said readers leaned heavily on TV this year, with 27 current and former TV stars making this year’s list.

“Emilia Clarke being crowned Khaleesi of the Top 99 Most Desirable Women of 2014 is attributable to the strength and character she portrays onscreen as well as the popularity of HBO’s ‘Game of Thrones,’” he said.

The 13th edition of the poll placed “Community” star Alison Brie, “Blurred Lines” music video model Emily Ratajkowski, Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence (last year’s No. 1) and “Harry Potter” alum Emma Watson in the top 5.

Incidentally, twerking-extraordinaire Miley Cyrus came in at No. 99, though the Disney alum might not have been enumerated at all.

“The final Top 99 list is the product of both reader and staff votes, but if it were up to the staff alone I don’t think we’d be seeing Miley Cyrus on it,” Bassil said. “AskMen reader votes secured her a spot, but we remain skeptical about some of her recent behavior. We’ll see what 2014 brings. But at the moment No. 99 seems to be the right spot for her.”

It appears that TV reigned supreme with Clarke’s “Thrones” costars Oona Chaplin and Rose Leslie coming at Nos. 43 and 61, respectively. “Scandal” powerhouse Kerry Washington demanded the No. 7 spot, voluptuous “2 Broke Girls” star Kat Dennings came in at No. 12 and “adorkable” “New Girl” star Zooey Deschanel clinched No. 17.

“How I Met Your Mother” and “Avengers” darling Cobie Smulders landed the 29th spot. “Orange Is the New Black” star Taylor Schilling came in at No. 38, closely followed by “Modern Family” star Sofia Vergara at No. 40 and “Downton Abbey’s” Michelle Dockery at 44. The No. 47 spot went to “Breaking Bad” Emmy winner Anna Gunn, and “Glee’s” Lea Michele was No. 48.

Another HBO star, Alison Williams of “Girls,” landed the 54th spot. New mom Kim Kardashian, No. 98 last year, moved up to No. 87. “House of Cards” Golden Globe winner Robin Wright was awarded the 95th spot, and “Modern Family” actress Sarah Hyland barely made the cut at 98.

“Parks & Recreation’s” leading women Amy Poehler, Rashida Jones and Aubrey Plaza all made the list at Nos. 23, 52 and 72, respectively.

Lawrence was one of many Oscar hopefuls on the list: “American Hustle’s” Amy Adams, “12 Years a Slave” standout Lupita Nyong’o, “Gravity” nominee Sandra Bullock and “Blue Jasmine” star Cate Blanchett were also included.

Ironically, “50 Shades of Grey” film stars Rita Ora came in at No. 18, majorly trumping the sex-filled film’s star Dakota Johnson, who landed the 49th spot.

A bevy of models including Kate Upton, Kate Moss, Alyssa Miller and Victoria’s Secret models Cara Delevingne, Karlie Kloss, Miranda Kerr, Doutzen Kroes, Joan Smalls and Alessandra Ambrosio not surprisingly secured positions on the list.

In all, 47 actresses, seven athletes, one businesswoman, 10 music artists, 24 women in fashion, 24 moms, two pregnant women, four comics and 22 celebrity humanitarians made the list, the site said.
