Usher reportedly engaged to manager Grace Miguel
Usher is reportedly engaged to his manager-girlfriend, Grace Miguel.
The singer’s proposal was “very sweet and romantic,” an insider told Us Weekly. Both Us and People reported “multiple sources” confirming the engagement.
A big, blingy ring was spotted on her left hand at the end of December, the YBF reported. However, a source told Us that Usher popped the question about a week and a half ago.
The 36-year-old former coach of “The Voice” has been managed by Miguel, 44, for three years, according to Billboard. They’ve been dating since 2009, when he and Tameka Raymond, nee Tameka Foster, split after two years of marriage.
Usher’s divorce was final in November 2009, but his custody battle with his ex wasn’t settled until 2012.
Their agreement solidified shortly after her son and his stepson Kile Glover died after a boating accident. The deal was revisited after Usher Raymond V nearly drowned in 2013, but the Atlanta artist retained custody.
