Maroon 5 announces North American tour

Maroon 5’s latest album might have been titled “Overexposed,” but the pop rockers have yet to hit the road in the U.S. for it.

As the band’s latest single, “One More Night” notches a fifth week atop the Billboard Hot 100 (sorry Psy), it was announced on Monday that Maroon 5 will launch a tour at the top of next year.

The Live Nation produced trek will begin in Columbus, Ohio, on Feb. 13 and make 31 stops across North America. Maroon 5 will hit Los Angeles on March 15 with a show at Staples Center.

Neon Trees and Owl City will join the band for the tour.

The winter-spring outing will make frontman Adam Levine one busy rock star. The tour will coincide with his other day job, as one of the judges of NBC’s hit singing competition “The Voice.”

Although fellow coaches Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green have already announced they will be sitting out the fourth season of the show when it returns in the spring (Usher and Shakira will fill in), fans of Levine shouldn’t fret. Levine’s rep confirmed he is definitely returning for a fourth season because who needs free time when you can spend your off days in an over-sized spinning chair mining talent and hitting a red buzzer?

Tickets go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. Full dates can be found on the band’s official website.
