Sissy Spacek: Career in pictures

1990-96: After a few years off, Spacek returned to acting with two high-profile projects, "The Long Walk Home" alongside Whoopi Goldberg and Oliver Stone's "JFK." Next, she took several television projects including the HBO dramas "A Private Matter" and "If These Walls Could Talk" and ABC's "A Place for Annie." In 1996 Spacek earned her first Emmy nod when she reunited with her "Coal Miner" costar Tommy Lee Jones for TNT's "The Good Old Boys," the story of a cowboy struggling with the aspect of settling down.
