Cartoon Network’s edgy Adult Swim network has ordered up second seasons of some of its most popular freshmen series, including “Mike Tyson Mysteries,” “Black Jesus” and “Mr. Pickles.”

The animated “Mike Tyson Mysteries,” featuring an investigative team headed by the former heavyweight boxing champ, was one of the most high-profile offerings on the Adult Swim slate, which expanded from late-night into prime time earlier this year and is putting more emphasis on original programming.

“Mr. Pickles,” which is also animated, will continue the adventures of the Goodman Family, who live in the old-fashioned world of Old Town which is slowly being taken over by the modern world.

The live-action comedy “Black Jesus” revolves around a present-day Jesus who lives in Compton and tries to spread love and kindness with the help of his group of downtrodden followers.
