Bays softer side is revealed when he manages to keep things sophisticated. Some of Bays other music clips, like Richard Marxs Angelia, perhaps better lend themselves to this gallery, but what he does with the Divinyls is more subtle, framing the band and a bevy of models in soft soap-opera lighting. Theres a lot of posing and strutting around, but when all is said and done, theres something unsettling lurking behind the smiles. No one really connects, and the whole thing feels a little bit lonely.
