Film adaptations of F. Scott Fitzgerald's most famous novel have earned Oscars before ¿ the 1974 version starring Robert Redford won two ¿ and director Baz Luhrmann is no stranger to awards, as "Moulin Rouge" was a best picture nominee in 2002. The new version, starring Leonardo DiCaprio as Gatsby and Carey Mulligan as Daisy Buchanan, seems like a sure-fire award season hit. Although there's one major question mark in the production: 3-D.
