Randy Newman's "Toy Story 3" song "We Belong Together" had its critics, including Roger Ebert. Yet even if the song sticks to the formula of his past work for Pixar/Disney, Newman can still be an unpredictable cat when it comes to giving an acceptance speech, repeatedly saying he wanted to make "good television" and did not want to read a list of thank-yous, Newman succeeded, asking why Oscar voters gave the song category a short shrift. "They only nominate four songs?" Newman said. "What about cinematographers? There's five. They could find a fifth song from someone, but hell with it. I think it might have beat me."
