Because horror is so rarely acknowledged in the Oscar nominations, the genre got its own musical clip montage. But somehow, the academy managed to make things worse by including some films that really stretch the definition of "horror." To review: "Frankenstein" is horror, "Young Frankenstein," above, is not. "Little Shop of Horrors" has horror in the title, but it is not a horror film it's a comedy musical. And they snubbed such classics as "The Thing," "Session 9" and "The Haunting" in favor of "Leprechaun"? And don't even get us started on "Twilight."
